Happy 11th Month Birthday!!!

Holy Toledo I will have a one year old in a month! Dear lord, when did that happen!!!

Here is what our BUSY little girl is up to these days:

• I am guessing around 19lbs - 20lbs
• 29 inches
• She is a big ham and loves to laugh and giggle all the time! You have the funniest little laugh ever!!
• Still no more teeth! At this pace you may never get any more teeth! ha!
• She is wearing a size 3 diaper
• She is wearing 6 - 9 and 6 - 12 months clothes!
• She is a running machine!! Crawling is so past tense for you!
• She learned to say dawg and woof! Its pretty adorable!
• She is eating a lot more people food, which makes it way easier for mommy and daddy! I do have to say your favorite is toasted cheese sandwiches which we are also eating a lot too!! I hope soon, you expand your horizons or else mommy and daddy may go hungry!
• Sleeping is AWESOME!!! Please keep it up! You sleep from 10-12 hours a night!
• She NEVER EVER sits still any more!!!
• She is a big time babbler.. wonder where she gets that from, wink!
• She loves to sing!

Its been a while ...

We have been very busy these days! We went to Disneyland again and had an amazing family vacation! We got our first annual passes so we will be going back around Christmas time too!!! Ellie's favorite rides include; It's A Small World and Under the Sea! Here are a few pictures!

The week we returned Miss e got very sick! :( Her first illness! It was a very very hard and long week. I hate seeing my baby cry! Now she is teething! She has been one hot mess for the past week which makes for VERY tired parents! At this rate I hope 10 teeth come in. HA! Oh yes, I am that tired! The hubby and I also learned one of the hardest things as working parents is to have a sick baby and juggle staying at home!

Happy Belated Birthday My Baby Girl!!

A few days late .... but I did take the pictures on time but with the hubby gone on business and working full time mama I ran out of time till NOW!!!

Happy birthday to my sweet baby girl!!! Mommy and Daddy love you so much and we can hardly believe that you are ten months old. You finally passed the milestone where you have been in the outside world longer then Mommy's tummy!!

• She is a walking machine or should I say running machine. You try to run but it needs some practice!! You have now figured out how to stand up all by yourself too so no more rest for Mommy and Daddy!
• She learned to use the American signal for TOUCHDOWN! I will post the video, it is sooo funny!!!
• She is eating toasted cheese sandwich and fishy crackers!
• Sleeping is AWESOME!!! Please keep it up! You sleep from 10-12 hours a night!
• She NEVER EVER sits still any more!!!
• She is a big time babbler.. wonder where she gets that from, wink!
• She loves, loves, loves to clap! In between everything she does she stops and claps for herself! Funny girl!

My new hobby ..

facebook shopping, you heard it hear first, you can find the most fabulous, girlie outfits! My new latest addiction, smocked clothing! Miss Els is going to be the best dressed soon to be 10 month old, I know! I am not sure I can have any more kids because I couldn't afford to dress two kids in such high fashion! Blahhh!! I actually called the hubby tonight to inform him since he is on a business trip! I also told him maybe he should close more deals, no pressure honey!!! I will post some pictures soon of all her cuteness!!

Good bye July and Hello August!!!

All I can say is where the hell did July go? My sweet girl is almost 10 months and I am starting to plan her first birthday and can hardly believe it! Where did my baby go? She is walking up a storm, even in her crib! I didn't know that you could pace in a crib but Ellie is sure good at it! I find it hysterically funny and love to watch it on our monitor.

I am missing the hubby as he is gone away on business, the WHOLE week! :(

To brighten up my week though, I get to start my new job!!! Woohoo!!! Watch out HR here I come ready or not and good bye audit! I have been an auditor since the day I left college 6 years ago and now my new adventure will begin! I am so excited!! Wish me super duper luck!!!

Happy Five years to an AMAZING husband and daddy!!!

Well, yesterday, was our official five year anniversary! I can't believe how much times has gone by since the day we said I DO! It's really amazing how much our lives have changed since July 29, 2006. A little reminiscing ... Our wedding was fabulous, it was exactly what we wanted a huge party and everyone had a blast! Then off to Jamaica for 7 days for our relaxing and first married couple vacation! Our first big purchases were a new Volvo (which we still have) and a condo (which we still live in)! Then we had the year of knee surgeries, Alex had his in December and I had mine in July. July 17 to be exact was the day of hell!!! I ended up being out of commission for a year and a half and had a total of 6 surgeries numerous hospital stays, not the best year and a half for the Sala crew! We made it though it now healthy as a horse and Alex was right there with me the whole time! That time in our lives was not easy but we conquered it!! Then January 2010 .... we are having a BABY!!! On October 5, 2010, Ellie Laureen Sala, was born, our pride and joy!!! All in all the first five years of marriage have been AMAZING and I can hardly wait for what will life bring us next!!!

Happy Anniversary babe, Ellie and I are very lucky girls!!!

We spent the day by taking the day off of work and heading down to San Francisco for a little family time! We had a good lunch and then headed back home where our friends took baby sat Miss E while we had our first couple dinner since she has arrived! it was FABULOUS!!!

Big Purchases ...

The first one is this FABULOUS stroller!!!

Long story short we had a City Mini and Miss Ellie ended up HATING it, I mean would arch her back and protest every.sing.time. we put her in it. I got tired of fight it so I returned the stroller and got this beauty for the same price!!! I got an AMAZING deal! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the color and so far Miss E loves it too!! Thank you Uppa Baby, you saved my life and my arms!

The second fabulous purchase is this fun filled playhouse;

Miss Ellie absolutely loves it! I have never seen such a cute reaction from her when we showed her, her new toy! It sings, counts, talks what more could a girl ask for.

Miss E has been spoiled lately, what a lucky little girl!! Now we are off to a baby shower for Ellie's soon to be new baby girl cousin!

The Official Measurements Are In ...

Well, I was a tad off in both directions! I guess Mommy's don't know everything .. SHOCKER, I know! Miss E was 18lbs and 28 inches! The best part of the whole appointment was that she didn't get any shots! Oh, and the doctor told us we have a very active little girl who will be walking anytime! SCARY!!! Her biggest worry for us was to make sure we are baby proofing ASAP!!!

• We went from no teeth to like 4 teeth in about a week!

• She is wearing 6 - 9 and 6 - 12 months clothes!
• She has mastered pulling up on everything and letting go!
• She basically runs with her Radio Flyer these days!
• She is eating all sorts of things but her attention span is short lived so we have to eat fast or it wont be done!
• Sleeping is AWESOME!!! Please keep it up! You sleep from 10-12 hours a night!
• She NEVER EVER sits still any more!!!
• She is a big time babbler.. wonder where she gets that from, wink!
• She loves, loves, loves to clap! In between everything she does she stops and claps for herself! Funny girl!

Here is to another fabulous year!!!

We had such an amazing 4th of July weekend! My mom came into town and we got to spend much needed mother, daughter, and grand baby time together! We got Ellie's 9 months pictures done ... which is tomorrow and I can hardly believe it! We shopped, tried to stay cool, saw my brother twice, and visited the hubby's family a couple times too! All in all it was a very busy and fun filled weekend! I am so thankful for all the amazing people we have in our life! They are all truly inspiring and amazing in all their unique ways!

Thank you America and the men and women who got us here so that we are able to share such amazing moments together!!

I confess I have an ADDICTION!!!

I LOVE smock auctions on Facebook! I am addicted and I love it! I am not sure if it is the cute clothes or just the thrill of getting the item! Either way it keeps me entertained and Ellie is going to be the best dressed 9 month old I know! The hubby thinks I am nuts, but oh well, I never claimed that I wasn't!

Nighty nighty!!

Its been a while ...

so what have the Sala's been up to, you ask! Here it is;

• Well Miss E got her first two teeth on Father's day!
• Her daddy loved his gift from his sweet bebe girl! I made him a frame with pictures where miss E was holding the letters daddy, of course one at a time! It turned out so precious!
• My brother moved to California! YEAH!!! He is only about 1 hour and a half a way!
• The hubs family had a family reunion, so much fun!
• My mom is coming down for 4th f July!!!
• Miss E is starting to get risky and is now letting go while she is standing up, walking is probably not too far off! YIKERS! Where did my baby go!?!

That all happened in the last week!

Baby Bath Tub ... savior!

AMAZING!!!!

This one bath tub is the best and most efficient way to give miss E a bath these days! Where have you been all my life!!! Why did I wait to buy you, when our friends with kids said this is a must have! I know because I am silly!! Thankfully last weekend I actually got smart! Go mommy!!!

FYI - Your baby needs to be able to sit unassisted easily! If they are go buy one NOW!!!!

Radio Flyer!!!

Ellie absoultey loves her Radio Flyer!! It took her about a whole 2 hours to figure out how to make this work!

This walker is amazing for pre walkers who are just starting to pull up on everything because it doesn't tip over! Ellie also loves putting all her toys in it or even being pushed around inside the wagon! It severs so many fun times!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND by the Sala household!

You are truly the best thing that has happened to our family! You bring so much joy and happiness that I never knew I could feel!! You are truly amazing!! I love you baby girl!

• No teeth yet, which is nice for this breastfeeding mama!
• She is wearing a size 3 diaper
• She is wearing 6 - 9 and 6 - 12 months clothes!
• She has mastered pulling up on everything! She has a no fear policy!
• She can now walk while pushing her newest toy, the Radio Flyer!
• She is eating all sorts of things as long as butternut squash is involved or fruit! She hates her green veggies, she is not bias she hates them all!
• Sleeping at night is on and off! But on your birthday you gave us 9 straight hours, hopefully that is the new trend!
• She NEVER EVER sits still any more!!!
• She is a big time babbler.. wonder where she gets that from, wink!
• She loves, loves, loves to clap! In between everything she does she stops and claps for herself! Funny girl!
