I was a tad nervous about taking a 7 month old baby to Disneyland but the hubby insisted that it was a fabulous idea! We ventured out and accomplished the vacation and we had an amazing time. We went with our friends and their kids, my mom and aunt.
The ride down there was a smooth 6 hour drive. Ellie was amazing! Then next three days consisted of long days at the park and fun kid dinners. As our friends have three kiddies! Ellie went on several rides and loved them all. We met many characters and the majority of the time she loved them and was not scared at all ... shocking! I mean what kid would not love a giant figure (compared to them) with an enormous head ... I mean what is there not to love! The one thing I did learn is that will miss elles turns 3 we are going to spend the $$$, to be exact $220 to do the princess makeover! I mean all the little girls walking around the park with their sparkly hair, cute little pink cheeks, a tiara, a princess ensemble, and mini high heels what is there not to love! They were all so proper walking around in the park looking like they just won the lottery. I LOVED IT!!!
Now the return drive ... now that is a story to tell! First off this all happened within the first two hours which should have only taken us an hour! Ellie has a MAJOR blowout! Poop everywhere, all over her outfit, on her car seat ... oh and she is eating real food so it STUNK!!! Pull over please ... i am gong to barf! Our friends stopped with us to help us clean the explosion. Twenty minutes pass, the phone rings ... mmmm we must pull over again. Our friends kid puked EVERYWHERE! Their car now smells worse then ours, as milk puke STINKS!!! Off we go again, three minutes later ... "PLEASE PULL YOUR CAR OVER" a cop car yells at us ... ummmm great! I am pumping at this point and I cant stop mid pump I mean this is like liquid gold! As the police comes over to my window as says mama you donnnnn'ttttt, oh WOW! Yes sir, I am pumping and that is why the front part of the seat belt is behind me! His face turns BRIGHT RED and as every second passes his face gets more red and he starts to fumble all his words! It was AWESOME! I loved seeing this young cop squirm! Needless to say we were off again without a ticket and a cop left dumb founded! Another half an hour goes by ... I smell something, must be Ellie's stinky diaper, a few minutes later ... no it is getting worse. Oh yes, Ellie had another MASIVE explosion! GREAT! Pull over please, we all pull over once again clean her up and eat at Jack in the Box! Oh how I love those tacos sober or not ... yummy, with curly fries and a diet coke, please! Thank god after that we drove 6 hours straight home! HOME SWEET HOME!!!
First ROAD TRIP = Success!
